More on open social networks
Seems it isn't just me who has been thinking about more open social networks.
Wired makes many similar points in an article today. They reach the same conclusion as me - that building a more open social network is an urgent priority.
Like my friend Gareth [posts soon, we all hope…], they suggest XFN, rather than FOAF as a data standard for sharing contacts. They have a similar purpose, but different underlying technology. It'd be great to get some adoption of one or the other.
